Burray is located in Mey within walking distance from the beach, with amazing uninterrupted views across the Pentland Firth to Orkney. Inside the lodge there is an open plan lounge with comfy sofa and chairs, Smart TV with Netflix, electric fire and a dining area with table and four chairs. The modern kitchen is well-equipped. Burray is pet friendly and can accommodate 1 large dog or 2 small dogs. Burray is immaculately presented and there are amazing views from every angle, the owners supply a telescope for guests’ use. There are two bedrooms, a standard double with an en-suite toilet and a single room, both have a wardrobe, bedside tables and lamps. The bathroom has a walk in shower, wash basin and toilet. There is a decking area surrounding the property with seating for outside dining and a hot tub where you may be able to enjoy views of the Northern Lights.
The lodge is located near the Castle of Mey which is the home of the Royal Family when visiting the area. John o’ Groats is 5 miles away where you can take a trip to Orkney. Caithness has something for everyone including walking, cycling, distillery tours, sightseeing, wildlife tours, golf, fishing or just chilling on the beach. There are shops, restaurant and pub 5 miles away. Harrow Lodge is the perfect base from which to explore the surrounding area and to chill out in the hot tub after a busy day.

Excellent location for peace and quiet.Stock up before you arrive as there isn't much available locally. The Castle at Mey is a short walk away and the cafe can be accessed without going into the castle or grounds so handy for a lunch or scone.The lodge itself is as expected although it maybe time to replace the bed and sofa, these felt quite worn.The hot tub is a nice addition especially after a day of walking.Nearby places to enjoy are John O'Groats, Wick, which has a lovely riverside walk, and Dunnet Beach, there is a car park there and a toilet but little else so pack for the day as it's beautiful.

We had a lovely time in the lodge. It was clean, tidy and comfortable, felt very at home. It's in a stunning g location where you can get amazing views of the sunset & rise. The telescope is a great idea, we didn't think we'd get much use of it because it doesn't really get that dark as far north but we enjoyed looking out it. If your looking for remote this is definitely one to try, there is a pub which does food about 1/2hr walk maybe jitnit's not dog friendly so wee never went, you will need to drive to a shop but its only maybe 10min drive. Overall I'd say its a perfect get away, close to both Thurso.& Wick. Thanks for having us.

This place is lovely and is so dog friendly that my fur baby had amazing holiday. The views are amazing and wak to the harbour to see all the seals was amazing. One of the best hot tubs we have been in after day of exploring relaxing in the hot tub was great addition. This place was immaculate could not fault the cleaning. This place is a credit to the owners. Absolutely loved it can't wait for our next visit.
