This cosy cottage offers modern living with a traditional cottage feel and has been beautifully decorated to very good standard. The cottage has a wood burner to add to the ambience in the cooler evenings, and patio doors open up from the kitchen/dining room to the enclosed garden area, which make this ideal for a summer BBQ. Outside, guests can relax in the quiet rural surroundings, with an eating area overlooking a field or simply enjoy lounging in the sun in the various comfy seating areas. Follow the private pathway from the garden to cross the road to Sandbraes Park, which has a children’s play area and beach. This large open park is a great place for family picnics and outdoor games. The local village of Whiting Bay has convenience stores, a bar, restaurant and café, along with a putting green, bowling green and a golf club to keep all the family entertained. Fabulous walks for rambling and exploring. 2 Northbank Cottages is the perfect location for a family holiday or a last minute getaway. Beach 500 yards. Shop 500 yards, pub and restaurant ½ mile.

Brilliant for your dog. Very large garden full fenced. Secret gate to access the local playing fields and beach (2 to 300yds) Has the feeling of a holiday home not a holiday let. We could have just moved in, everything you needed was there. Overall a lovely experience and I would not hesitate to recommend. The only points dropped are local amenities? Its a small village on an island, multiplex cinemas and bowling alleys are a bit of a rarity.
