Seacliffe is situated close to Whiting Bay in a quiet secluded location and boasts stunning views over the water with the most amazing sunrises on the island. The property boasts three bedrooms, a well-equipped kitchen, and a stunning dining room in the conservatory with fantastic sea views. It is a base from which to explore the whole island, even manage a day trip to the Kintyre Peninsula, or stay put and enjoy magnificent sunsets and spectacular night skies. One of the most southerly of the Scottish Isles, Arran encapsulates the grandeur and majesty of Scotland but all packaged within an accessible area 19 miles long by 10 miles wide.
The island has several pretty villages on Arran’s stunning coastline which are contrasted by a rugged and mountainous interior in the north. For outdoor lovers, Arran offers mountain biking, paragliding, canyoning, sea kayaking, scrambling and more; you can even book an island safari! The Isle of Arran is a place where you can find a little bit of everything you’d ever want from a Scottish island; an ever-changing coastline, dramatic mountain peaks, sheltered beaches, verdant forests, great cultural festivals and a wealth of tasty local produce. Lamlash Bay also offers sea kayaking and powerboat trips, so you can explore the bay at your own pace. We found Seacliffe cottage very much to our liking.Everything really was of a pretty high standard and comfortably met all our needs.On just a personal note we did find the grounds outside the cottage quite steep for our knees when walking our dog but that just a personal comment, other people may find that not an issue.The owners were very helpful and excellent to converse with, giving information when needed.

A brilliant, relaxing, enjoyable holiday all round! John and Jude were very friendly, helpful hosts.The accommodation is extremely well appointed with a great view to boot. Would not hesitate to recommend this property and Arran in general. It a is picturesque, quiet, peaceful place to visit for a holiday and Seacliffe is a lovely place to stay. 10/10
