Tennox Stables is highly praised for its spaciousness, cosy atmosphere, and welcoming host, Graeme. Guests enjoyed the well-maintained hot tub and the property's beautiful grounds, including a car museum and farm animals. The stables offer a comfortable stay with high-end appliances and are ideal for group gatherings. Some minor maintenance issues were noted, but these did not detract from the overall positive experience.
The property is consistently described as clean, with a spotless hot tub and high standards of cleanliness throughout. There is a minor mention of leaves in the hot tub and spider webs, but these are outdoor issues and do not significantly impact the overall cleanliness.
While guests find the property and grounds beautiful, there are no specific comments on the location in relation to nearby amenities or attractions, so it is not possible to provide a score for this category.
The property is generally found to be comfortable, with spacious rooms and a warm atmosphere. However, there are comments about the beds not being very comfortable and a lack of hanging space for clothes, which suggests room for improvement in this area.
The facilities are well-received, especially the hot tub and the variety of appliances provided. However, some guests noted minor maintenance issues such as the need for paint, a non-working oven and grill, and a shower that fills with water. These issues suggest that while the facilities are good, there is a need for some attention to maintenance.
Guests mention a warm welcome and thoughtful touches like a bottle of wine on arrival. However, as gifts are not guaranteed for every stay, future guests should be aware that these kind gestures, while appreciated, may not be a standard offering.

We had a wonderful stay at Tennox Stables. Spacious but cozy property, great facilities. Communication before arrival was good and we received a warm welcome including a bottle of wine and were shown round the house by Graeme on arrival. Hot tub was spotless. Perfect place to stay for our chilled long weekend as a group of friends.

Graeme is as an excellent host. Lovely accommodation, just could have done with some more board games for the kids on the rainy days!
