Great location close to major sites. Utkanten has a wonderful outlook and is furnished in a quirky style that makes for a comfortable and memorable stay. We really enjoyed our time there

Our first visit to Orkney. Loved the house and the views. Located a couple of miles from Stromness. House well equipped with all the things we needed. Very dog friendly although no lawned garden there is a small patio area. The road outside is very quiet so dog walking was not a problem. Our host was a great help with his local knowledge helping us find beaches and walks that don't appear in tourist brochures. The Orkney Brewery and restaurant well worth a visit.
