Stayed 2 nights back in May, this cottage is absolutely gorgeous, modern, well equipped and the ideal location for exploring Aberfeldy and beyond. Marie was very helpful, with lots of knowledge about local walks, restaurants etc. Would definitely recommend and we'll be back! **

A great location in Aberfeldy. The cottage was very comfortable, well equipped, tastefully decorated & furnished, warm & welcoming. The bedroom was a beautiful space. It was very clean & supplied all the necessities like hand wash, toilet roll, washing up liquid, laundry pods, etc. It felt well cared for by the owner. Good information about the local area with plenty of recommendations. Lots of supplies for dogs if you’ve forgotten to bring your own. Easy on street parking. Great communication from the owner. We really enjoyed our stay.

Great location within walking distance of the shops and amenities. Good base for exploring the local area. The cottage was lovely and very clean and ideal if you are only going to sleep there, but there were a few things that I wish we had known beforehand. There is a very steep staircase up to the bedroom with a dubious handrail, which made getting down to the toilet in the middle of the night a bit risky. The shower also had a step up to get into it and no handrail so again not really suitable for anyone with any mobility issues. The shower head was very low and at 5”6 I had to squat to get under it. The sheets didn’t fit the super king bed and came off every night meaning we had to keep refitting the mattress protector and sheet. We didn’t find the couch particularly comfy for two of us. Some wee extra touches were missing that would have made our experience better. There was no welcome pack, not essential I know but disappointing after a long journey. There was no soap or toiletries in the shower and not enough towels to get us through the weekend without washing them but no soap powder to do a wash. There were also no bin bags for the bins. Given we were only there for 3 nights we were reluctant to go buy soap powder, bin bags, soap and toilet roll. The kitchen although modern and well equipped, didn’t have much work space to prep meals so we ended up eating out all the time. Fab toaster though. So if you are planning on being out and about all the time and are young/fit and able and come well equipped then the cottage is lovely.
