Hope Cottage is a charming renovated one-bedroom cottage and is one in a row of three modern cosy cottages nestled beautifully right in the heart of Aberfeldy. Set within their own gated courtyard they are just a few steps away from the fantastic selection of local amenities Aberfeldy has to offer.
This gorgeous wee cottage offers open plan living with a downstairs shower room. You will find everything you need in the brand-new modern kitchen. Upstairs is a comfortable double room where you can get a good night’s sleep after exploring the nearby hills and lochs. Aberfeldy is a popular town with shops, coffee shops, pub and great restaurants set in some of the most stunning landscapes in Scotland. Just six miles away you will find Loch Tay, one of the largest lochs in Perthshire, framed by majestic mountains and hillside farms and cottages. As well as being the popular playground of sailors and water sports enthusiasts, the loch is home to 18 ancient dwellings called crannogs.
Nearby to the north, Glen Lyon is often described as the longest, loneliest, and loveliest glen in Scotland, and has a wonderfully mystical atmosphere. Hope Cottage is the perfect base for a romantic break or for those who enjoy walking, cycling or fishing. Ideal for short breaks.

Small, but perfectly formed cottage.Can’t fault the quality of the fixtures and fittings and we liked the fact that the courtyard was fully enclosed so our dog was safe from nearby traffic.Aberfeldy is a great base for the exploring the surrounding areas and there’s plenty to see and do.One gripe was the quality of the mattress. Fine if you like soft, and the feeling of every spring on your back, but for us it was no use and we had to buy camping mats to put under the fitted sheet to firm it up a bit.Apart from that - 8.5/10

Cottage was lovely and very well fitted out. Everything you would need to make your stay comfortable. I would suggest that a new, thicker mattress for the bed would enhance the comfort. Mattress was thin and not comfortable. That aside a grrat stay. Very central location.
