Guests say

Tigh Nan Allt is a beautifully kept and spotlessly clean cottage in a peaceful, scenic location near Aberfeldy. Guests consistently praise its comfort, well-equipped amenities, and the abundance of wildlife, including birds and red squirrels in the garden. The cottage is an excellent base for exploring Perthshire, with many walks from the doorstep. While most found it relaxing and homely, a few minor issues were noted, such as a soft mattress and occasional dampness on arrival, but these did not detract from an overwhelmingly positive experience.

Multiple reviews highlight the cottage as spotlessly clean and well maintained, with only one mention of a slight damp smell on arrival that quickly resolved. Overall, guests were very satisfied with the cleanliness.

The location is frequently described as peaceful, scenic, and ideal for walking and exploring Perthshire. Its proximity to Aberfeldy and local attractions is highly valued by guests.

Guests found the cottage very comfortable and relaxing, with cosy furnishings and a homely feel. One review mentioned a preference for a firmer mattress and noted a squeak, but overall comfort was rated highly.

The cottage is praised for being well equipped with everything needed for a pleasant stay, including thoughtful extras like a Nespresso machine. Minor points were raised about heating and hot water being less convenient than central systems, and a suggestion for improved fencing for dogs.

Guests appreciated the attention to detail and thoughtful touches throughout the cottage, which contributed to a welcoming atmosphere. While gifts are not specifically mentioned, the overall sense of care is noted, but please note that such extras are not guaranteed.

A nice cottage in beautiful surroundings, short drive to Aberfeldy and so many wonderful nature walks nearby. The cottage was clean and very well equipped. There was a slight smell of damp in moat rooms on arrival but went away the next day or two after opening windows and putting the heating on. A good base from which to explore the surrounding Perthshire Highlands landscape.

A lovely cottage well equipped and a good central base for exploring Perthshire. Lots of birdlife and red squirrels visited the garden. Only negative point was cottages.com gave us the wrong entry code which meant the start of our holiday was stressful as we couldn't get in. We did manage to contact the owner who gave us the right code and said this was the third time cottages.com gave out the wrong code. Cottages.com did then email the right one, but this was 3 hours after our entry time, and with no apology. So while the cottage was lovely I'd think twice about using cottages.com again
