Site Description
Erigmore Leisure Park is a beautiful countryside retreat on the site of the old ’Birnam Wood’, made famous by Shakespeare’s Macbeth. It is just minutes from the picturesque village of Birnam and the small town of Dunkeld, in the heart of Perthshire and borders the beautiful River Tay. Within easy reach of Edinburgh, Glasgow and central Scotland, it’s a breathtaking woodland retreat with amazing attractions nearby.

Go for it you won’t be disappointed

The park is set in a beautiful quiet area with lots of nature walks nearby. Our cabin was fairly well equipped though some important kitchen utensils were either missing or broken, but we were given new ones when we asked at the reception. A couple of extra saucepans and frying pans would have been good as it was a struggle to cook a meal for 2 with the 1 small frying pan and one tiny and one giant sauce pan with 1 random lid that didn't fit either that we had. We found the sofa was not very comfortable and there was no coffee table to put drinks on while watching the tv. The internet and tv signals were intermittent on most days which left us with little to watch some evenings, though it wasn't surprising for the rural location of the park. The hot tub was very relaxing and was checked every morning by the staff, which we could hear walking around on the deck while we were still in bed. Although the staff at the front desk are helpful and kind, the staff behind the bar are judging and cold making me not want to go in there at all. Overall an enjoyable stay, though maybe a bit pricey for what we got.
