Fabulous stay at the Glen hideaway. Fantastic peaceful location, lots of lovely local walks from the doorstep, wildlife in abundance. The cabin itself is beautifully kept by the owners, it was far roomier than I expected, but still very cosy….especially with the log burner on. Everything is thought about here, would 100% return & recommend to anybody wanting to visit this area of Scotland.

A beautiful cabin tucked away in woodland and shrubs. The comfort and cleanliness is top class and the peace is beyond description. Charmingly decorated, and wonderful showers..and a very well equipped kitchen. The mattress iin the master bedroom is like sleeping on soft clouds..such a peaceful sleep every night..no noise, no stress..just wonderful! Well equipped with cd's, dvd's, toys for children, games including scrabble, and a whole range of books from.children upwards..everything is thought of. Its such a tranquil place..with plenty of walks for those who have dogs..or those who like hiking. I enjoyed exploring the surrounding area. There are other cabins tuvked away in Glen Derby, all seemed to be sleeping amongst the tres. The hottub is lovely and surrounded by shrubs and trees so that you have privacy.. we saw many birds visiting the feeders just close to the cabin..which was like havingbyour own " hide" we could observe very clearly from inside the cabin. Glen Hideaway is a hidden gem, and i would recommend to all. It being flat level inside, no steps, no stairs, makes it very easy for anyone with walking difficulties. Of course, the hottub might be a little awkward to access if you are not steady on your feet as it is down garden steps. However, its beautiful, and the cosy woodstove provides tremendous heat.I would return in a heartbeat. We loved our sray.
