We stayed at Glen hideaway early June for two weeks and had a marvellous time the Log cabin is excellent the garden areas are great with bird feeding station saw red squirrels woodpecker blue tits nuthatch and various others it was easy watching washing the pots, the walks around the area also are good bit uphill but kept us fit and was great for our little spaniel who loved all the smells and sights there are fallow deer in the forest equipment was first class very clean showers amazing would definitely visit again would benefit from an awning on the patio so you could sit out when raining but doesn’t spoil the experience

If youre thinking about booking do not hesitate if youre looking for quiet, plenty of wildlife, superb surroundings and a beautiful well equipped cabin with walks from your doorstep. My husband is disabled and we have a rough terrain mobility scooter transported on a small trailer, this place was ideal for parking and also walks direct from cabin using the scooter which was ideal no need to go anywhere if we didnt want to. Just a tip if you enjoy watching the wildlife from the cabin take some peanuts with you to refill the bird feeders if staying for more than 3 days the local shop & Pitlochry Coop didnt stock them & we mised seeing the colourful song birds, woodpeckers & red squirrels once feeders ran dry. All this from your windows & whilst in hot tub. Polly left us a note & gave us contact numbers if we needed anything as they live close by but everything was impeccable and a good book of instructions & recommendations so contact wasnt needed. Crocs or flip flops for hot tub
