Superb!Tucked away down quiet narrow side streets it took a bit of finding in the dark but the map accompanying check-in details was very helpful.Spotlessly clean and all the utensils you need to make a meal present, although there is plenty of choice for eating out and The Old Cross Inn within easy walking distance serves great food.A lovely vase of daffodils welcomed us as well as a host of goodies - crisps, biscuits, jam as well as essentials such as milk, butter and eggs. There was also tea , coffee, herbs and olive oil at our disposal. It was cold at the end of January when we visited for a few days but the cottage maintained a comfortable temperature and we only lit the log fire for the novelty and the ambience.Really good local services, particularly the butcher, baker and the Toad in the Hole shop which specialises in sausage rolls, but there is also a Tescos in the middle of the town and more on the outskirts.Lots of lovely footpaths within easy walking distance of the cottage but it's worth a drive up Glenshee, even if you can only get as far as the most welcoming visitor centre cafe because of the snow!I don't hesitate in recommending this holiday property and I would like to return soon.

This must be the best holiday cottage that we have ever stayed at.It was spotless and the owner had added lots of touches such as laundry products and a great welcome basket. Our dog loved the pretty garden and there were lots of lovely walks close by.The Barmoral pub just a 3 minute walk away is dog friendly .
