The Coach House is a cosy and very comfortable ground floor bolthole for a couple. It has been furnished to a high standard, with an open plan living/dining room and kitchen fully equipped with all the essential appliances and a super shower room with walk-in shower completes this lovey property.
The cottage is set in peaceful surroundings, yet only a short walk to all of the local amenities this lively market town has to offer. Perfectly located to act as a base for a wide range of pursuits, including skiing, fishing, shooting, walking and golfing. Blairgowrie is flanked by rolling hills and is the gateway to Glenshee, Scotland’s largest ski centre. Within the town is a championship golf course at Rosemount and with good variety of shops and tea rooms. The world’s tallest hedge at nearby Meiklour is worth a visit and the cities of Perth and Dundee, and with the V and A Museum nearby, there is plenty to keep everyone interested.
Glamis Castle and Scone Palace are within easy reach, or for the wildlife lover, a visit to Loch of the Lowes may reward you with a glimpse of an otter or osprey. Cycling, fishing and tennis are all available nearby, as well as excellent walking in the Angus Glens. Beach 23¾ miles. Shop and pub 1 mile, restaurant 1¼ miles.

We had a wonderful week staying in the Coach House. Everything was very welcoming and the house was comfortable and well equipped. This is somewhere we will definitely return to in the future and has got to be the best holiday cottage we have stayed in. We loved seeing the cows next door and being close to many places to visit and walk.

The cottage was very cosy - ideal for Perthshire in November. It is nicely furnished with tartan furniture in the open plan living room. The super king size bed is extremely comfortable. The bathroom looked as though it had been recently renovated and there was plenty of hot water if you wanted a bath. We had red squirrels in the garden and the four highland cattle in the field next door were amusing to watch. It’s only a mile or so into Blairgowrie which has some pretty riverside walks, all the basic shops and a supermarket. The owner left us a lovely welcome pack and when we left something behind she was extremely helpful. All in all we had a wonderful holiday in the cottage.
