We spent 4 nights at this wee cottage. It was fully equipped with everything you might need. Had excellent WiFi and a smart TV with lots of apps to watch. As with all cottages, they can be on the cooler side but there was a handy wee gadget to pop the heating on whenever you needed too. Across the road is Bridgend Eats snack van...a great wee place...the steak cheeseburger is amazing! You are about a 15 min walk to your nearest Co-op shop and pub/resturant. There is a Lidl roughly 5 min drive away from the cottage. The only downside to staying in this cottage is the lack of parking...we had to park across and further down the street. It is a very busy road and the noise of traffic can disrupt your sleep if you are not used to it. There was what looked like a door camera above the back kitchen door looking out into the garden which I didnt like as I felt it invaded our privacy, so we did not use the back garden. There was one on the front door also but I can understand that as this is where we collect the key from the key safe. The floor hadn't been hoovered properly and I was disappointed to see that we had no access to a hoover. I suspect cleaning supplies where locked away in the large kitchen cupboard. The bathroom bin needs replacing and the ironing board is not fit for purpose, the garden grass was over grown, the back gate is broken, the bedroom doors do not close properly. This shows a lack of care on the owners part.Despite the above, I would recommend a stay at this cottage.
