Surrounded by farmland, beautiful scenery and wildlife, this semi-detached, single-storey holiday property is set in the heart of the scenic West Strathearn area of Perthshire and only three miles from the pretty village of Comrie. This spacious cottage offers sumptuous accommodation and is perfect for couples who want to relax in this majestic setting.
The hills and glens of Perthshire make it the ideal location for riding, cycling, fishing and walking, and you are surrounded by some of the finest golf courses in Scotland including the famous Gleneagles. Explore Drummond Castle and its beautiful gardens, the famous Grouse Distillery, and Perth, Stirling, Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park are just a short drive away. Glasgow and Edinburgh are just over an hour’s drive away. After a day exploring, put your feet up and relax in front of the wood burner and enjoy the view.

A wonderful stay at Geordies Byre. The accommodation was very spacious, with a small secure lawned garden - the surrounding scenery was superb. Mown paths through the bracken were great for morning/evening strolls with the dog, straight out of the door. Fiona and family were most welcoming hosts and our Bryn (BC) also got on well with the resident dogs, Reggie and Nellie 🐾🐾Nearby Comrie is a lovely community, with a selection of amenities. The pub/bar attached to the Royal Hotel was a great informal space (inside and out) for drinks and meals. On the outskirts of the village Comrie Croft was great for provisions (a lot of the fruit and veg grown on site) and a bustling spot for a coffee. Many walks radiate from the village, Glen Lednock was our favourite - shady woodland, waterfalls and the cooling river💚 Also, plenty of great places to visit further afield. Stirling and its castle, Falkirk and the Kelpies, plus all the surrounding hills, lochs and glens. Top tip for parking in Stirling - park all day, for a modest charge, using the ‘ringo’ app., in Sainsbury’s car park and it is a pleasant 15/20 min walk up to the castle, via the ‘Back Walk'.

Highly recommend, very clean roomy cottage with everything required in a great location. Dog walks directly from the cottage and Comrie within 5 minutes drive. Friendly and helpful owner.
