Resting in the heart of the popular town of Crieff, where the Lowlands and Highlands meet is Meadow Cottage, a charming mid-terrace cottage, ideal for a romantic break. Perfect for couples or a solo traveller, Meadow Cottage boasts a quintessentially Scottish décor and quality furnishings throughout, while being close to local amenities. Stepping into the property, the sitting room welcomes you in to cosy up for the evening to watch the TV after a long day of exploring your surroundings. From here, dine at the dinner table whether it be a delicious home-cooked meal or a takeaway. The kitchen provides all you need to whip up your meals, including an electric oven, gas hob and a handy microwave as well as a washing machine so you can freshen up your clothes throughout your stay. When sleep calls, climb the stairs to the bedroom to get some rest ahead of another busy day. Lined with a good selection of books and a large mirror, the staircase alone is enough to impress in this delightful dwelling. The first floor hosts a plush double bed and plenty of quality and characterful furnishings. Guests will also benefit from an en-suite shower room, ideal for preparing for your day. For things to do while staying at the cottage, Crieff's Laggan Hill walk is nearby with spectacular views and scenery to be discovered, or if you prefer a peaceful stroll amongst nature, the MacRosty Park is within easy reach and offers a charming wooded area perfect for picnics. Drummond Castle and Gardens a just a short drive away, hosting perfectly manicured lawns and shrubbery to explore in the grounds of a magnificent 1600s castle. If you are travelling with a lover of animals, Auchingarrich Wildlife Centre is a scenic drive away and home to 70 species of wildlife for the public to enjoy, as well as covered walkways and opportunity for fly fishing in the ponds. Further afield, you can visit the Blair Drummond Safari Park, or venture into the city of Stirling for a day of shopping and exploring galleries and museums. Before heading back to the cottage, treat yourself to a meal out in one of the nearby restaurants such as Craobh Restaurant, serving scrumptious small plates, or The Square Bar & Kitchen for a light lunch.
