The prosperous highland Perthshire settlement of Comrie gets its name from the Gaelic term conruith, which means 'a place where rivers meet,' which is fitting given that the village is situated at the junction of three rivers that eventually flow into the Tay. There are several standing stones and archaeological remnants in the region, indicating that it was formerly populated. Today, the community benefits from wildlife and adventure tourism, since its position allows visitors to explore the surrounding mountains and lochs.

Everything is spotless clean and the cottage is very well maintained. Showers were powerful and all rooms decorated beautifully, kitchen well equipped and has everything you need. The table in the living is a little wobbly! If I had a minor gripe it would be great to have blinds in the bedrooms as the curtains didn’t close fully and was very bright early in the morning. All very minor points as loved our stay here and the area is beautiful for walks and exploring. Thank you!

It is so quiet and peaceful.we watched the birds, red squirrels and a mouse at the feeding station whilst having breakfast.Idealy situated on the Perth to Fort William Road. Anyone requiring accommodation in this area we would recommend it 100%

The cottage was very clean, warm, comfortable and well maintained. A cooker has now also been installed which was super. Sheenagh was very helpful and easy to contact through email. The estate is great for walks up onto the moors and is well placed for access to The Trossachs. We would definitely recommend and would like to stay again soon.
