Spend time exploring the surrounding hills and Caledonian pine forest, keeping an eye out for some of the UK's rarest wildlife, including red squirrels, pine martens, and golden eagles. Experienced hikers can tackle the route up to Schiehallion, also known as ‘fairy mountain’, from Braes of Foss car park, 7 miles, while thrill-seekers should head to the River Tay (20 miles) for white-water rafting or gorge walking at one of the local activity centres. Visit the charming town of Pitlochry (25 miles) to see a show at the Festival Theatre, or head to Blair Athol Distillery, also 25 miles away, for a whisky tasting in historic surroundings.

Bathed in natural light seeping in through the patio doors, the open-plan living space is where you’ll spend your downtime. The compact corner kitchen has all the essentials you need for rustling up holiday treats to share around the dining table, which seats up to four people.
