The meadows of the surrounding farm are to encourage wildlife, and wonderful walks from the door can take in a viewpoint to the Ochil Hills and Lomond Hills of Fife. The perfect base to enjoy a wealth of activities and places of interest around central Scotland including Perth - home to fine city and leisure facilities, Scone Palace, 10 miles, Falkland Palace (NTS), 7 miles, and Edinburgh Castle, Stirling and beaches at St Andrews, approximately 25 miles. Golf, cycling, gliding, riding and fishing are all nearby. Glenfarg, a historic village offering a small paper shop is 0.75 mile and there are several local produce farm shops within a 15-minute drive. Nearest pub and restaurant is approximately 3½ miles.. The cabin was a lovely place to stay for me and my partner, it had everything you could possible need if you just wanted to stay at the cabin on your visit. The addition of the hot tub and sauna absolutely topped off the stay, the host hazel was very welcoming and helpful with any questions that we had.

My husband and I are just back from 6 night break at Ashknowe lodge. We had a lovely time here, hot tub was great we sat in it listening to the birds and watching rabbits running about, the view was good, we even saw pheasant and deer. The lodge had everything we needed and was clean and comfortable. We had a great relaxing 6 nights away and would recommend this place.

My partner and I had a really lovely experience. The accommodation is truly beautiful and had everything we wanted. The TV is smart and there's also a dvd there which was nice though we didn't use it. The bedroom was beautiful and the bed was very comfortable.The bathroom was our favourite spot as it has the lovely tub, shower and most of all the sauna which was most loved overall.Few things which can be taken care of include the shed which houses the hot tub. The hot tub itself is spacious and lovely however the shed needs some better maintenance. There was also a broken toilet brush in the bathroom in the house.Overall this accommodation is lovely and worth every money spent. We'll most likely be back.
