A flight of garden steps leads down to the lodge, where double French doors open into a beautifully designed open-plan living space. Contemporary styling and thoughtful touches create an immediate sense of comfort, while views across the surrounding gardens bring the countryside right to the door. After a day’s adventures, sink into the wood-fired hot tub, where you can soak beneath the open sky while looking out towards the gardens and woodland. Inside you can relax into the comfortable sofa beside the warmth of the wood-burning stove, choose a favourite film on the Smart TV or simply settle in with a glass of wine and make plans for the following day
The bespoke kitchen has everything needed for relaxed self-catering, including a sociable island where one guest can keep the cook company. Share leisurely breakfasts, romantic dinners or a bottle chilled in the wine cooler before retiring to the luxurious super-king-size bedroom. The bed can also be arranged as twins if preferred, while the impressive Jack and Jill bathroom adds an extra touch of indulgence with its freestanding bath, twin sinks and separate rainfall shower.
Outside, the private patio is a lovely spot for dining in the fresh air or firing up the barbecue. Guests are also welcome to explore the farm and may even have the opportunity to help feed its friendly chickens. Four-legged companions are warmly welcomed too, with pre-bookable doggy day care, grooming and spa services available on site with the owners.
For a leisurely day close to home, stroll to the renowned Scottish Antique & Arts Centre and browse its fascinating collections before enjoying breakfast, brunch or lunch in the licensed restaurant. Further afield, the surrounding countryside provides excellent walking and cycling routes, while the River Tay is celebrated for its salmon and trout fishing. Golfers are exceptionally well placed for days at St Andrews, Carnoustie or Gleneagles.
Dundee and Perth are both within easy reach, as are memorable attractions including the V&A Dundee, Glamis Castle, Scone Palace and Camperdown Wildlife Centre.
