The crowning place of Scottish kings, stunning Scone Palace, is just ½ mile from Boatland Cottage. Enjoy a stroll around the gardens and woodland, try to escape the maze, or explore the many rooms of the palace with their paintings, furniture, porcelain and other historical objects.
The city of Perth is just a 10-minute walk from the property. Here you can find parks, monuments, art galleries, museums and a good selection of shops, restaurants and bars. Further afield, why not visit Edinburgh? Scotland’s capital city offers a wealth of attractions to keep you busy for hours, including Edinburgh Castle, the Palace of Holyroodhouse, Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh, Camera Obscura & World of Illusions, and many museums and art galleries.

Wonderful cottage, view from patio lovely with all the flowers on show and The Tay in nice weather you could set by the river. Gardens spectacular. Property had everything needed, for me personally the toilet being downstairs was a minus. Owner very nice and will help with any problem that may occur.
