With the nearest neighbours being over 3 miles away, Braes of Foss Farmhouse is a secluded treasure set on the grounds of a working farm, at the foot of the munro Schiehallion. Discover a boot room to the side of the property where you can leave your muddy boots or hose yourself down before entering the contemporary dwelling. Be welcomed into an open-plan kitchen/diner which has been fitted with pristine white units and sleek wooden worktops, perfect for preparing tasty evening meals. Gather at the spacious dining table and discuss your plans for the days that lie ahead as you benefit from the heat of the woodburning stove. Walk through to the sitting room and cosy with your loved ones on the plush sofas whilst you unwind with your favourite shows on the flat screen TV and the woodburning stove keeps the room nice and toasty. You will find a ground-floor super-king-size bedroom, serviced by a bathroom with the choice of a bath and shower over, whilst the first-floor comes with a further two super-king-size (zip/link) bedrooms and a twin. The zip/link features give this property flexible sleeping arrangements for all types of guests wishing to stay here. The property can be found via a single track road which leads up to Kinloch Rannoch where lovers of the TV series Outlander can look forward to exploring this well-recognised filming location and discover a plethora of farm animals in the surrounding fields. The farmhouse is at the base of one of Scotland’s best known munros, Schiehallion – the easiest munro to climb, a whaleback ridge from most viewpoints, it appears as a perfect cone when seen from across Loch Rannoch – rich with wildlife and scenic views, it is the perfect spot for those looking for walking and hiking opportunities. Loch Rannoch is within reach and is particularly popular for swimming, kayaking and fishing opportunities, or choose to jump on the train from Rannoch station towards Fort William for a magnificent day trip exploring its rich history.
