This 17th-century cottage, sits next to a small brewery in a small village on the outskirts of Pitlochry; which is a small but bustling town, with a good variety of shops, places to eat and a theatre that puts on summer shows. A traditional cottage it is ideal for guests wishing to enjoy a comfortable holiday break – whatever the season. Some superb golf (8 golf courses in less than 8 miles) and fishing can be enjoyed in the area, and there are numerous castles, gardens and distilleries to visit. Why not start your exploration closer to home however and follow any of the pleasant walks available directly from the doorstep. This is a marvellous centre from which to tour the moorlands and dramatic river scenery. Shop ¾ mile, pub 100 yards.

Really enjoyed our stay. Lovely location. Pitlochry a really nice town and good for touring too.House is great and traditional with a good layout. Everything we needed was there. Being dog friendly was a bonus. Just a few tweaks, such as the toilet seat needs refitted as held on by tape; the small red sofa in the living room is uncomfortable due to the springs and the carpet in the dining area is very stained. (Perhaps an non carpet surface would be good there.)

There was a mix up at the start of our week but the owner got things sorted out. For us it's a great house in a great location. Warm and with everything we needed. Walking and biking from the door, good pub next door and a short walk into town.
