Guests say

The Anchorage is a well-loved cottage with stunning sea views, praised for its warmth, comfort, and spaciousness. Guests have enjoyed the beautiful location, ideal for walks and visiting nearby attractions. The property's well-equipped kitchen and cosy open fire add to the charm, making it a highly recommended retreat for families and groups seeking a peaceful holiday by the sea.

Most guests found The Anchorage to be clean and well-maintained, though a few mentioned minor issues such as dust and the need for some TLC. The property was generally described as spotless, contributing to a comfortable stay.

The location is highly praised for its amazing sea views and proximity to walks, beaches, and towns. Some minor road noise was mentioned, but it did not detract significantly from the overall experience.

Guests consistently noted the property's comfort, with comfortable beds and furniture, and a warm, homely feel. The presence of multiple bathrooms and a well-equipped kitchen added to the comfort level.

The facilities are generally well-regarded, with a well-equipped kitchen and ample entertainment options. Some guests suggested updates to the shower cubicles and mentioned minor maintenance issues, but these did not overshadow the positive feedback.

While some guests mentioned welcome treats and the provision of essentials, there is not enough consistent information across reviews to score thoughtfulness accurately. It is noted that such gestures are appreciated but cannot be guaranteed for future guests.

Over the years I've have got into the habit of taking certain Kitchen items to holiday lets. This time I needn't have bothered. The best fitted out Kitchen I've ever had in holiday accommodation. Will consider another visit for our next big family gathering.

Well spaced and clean. Lovely views and great access for walks and driving. Saw wild dear on the beach one day and dolphins in the sea the next. The owner was great with communication and left lots of advice within the venue. Really relaxing stay.
