We had a really lovely stay over Xmas at The Carthouse. It is a beautiful place.....probably the nicest place I have ever stayed in......plus the bonus of a hot tub!Quiet location so you need to travel around a bit but there is plenty to see and do within 30 mins drive.

Fantastic place, had a lovely cosy weekend here. Couldn't have asked for anything more and very welcoming hosts. So many nice touches with robes for the hot tub and welcome goodies too. Will definitely be looking to stay again!

The cabin is beautiful, clean, and tidy. The place is like new and exactly as described. The location is a bit far, but it's excellent for those seeking peace and quiet.
