Excellent accommodation but a little too far away from shops & restaurants. Great if you intend to eat in. The Blackadder Bar/Restaurant in the village serves fabulous food but doesn't open Mondays or Tuesdays. Melrose, Kelso, Eyemouth & Berwick on Tweed are great places to visit.

A lovely cottage in a lovely village, the cottage is well equipped, the beds are very comfortable. The stairs were a bit hard to navigate for the elderly, and shower cubicles were a bit awkward, to get in and out of, and shower trays slippy, maybe rubber shower mats would help, but the showers themselves were good. That said we had a lovely time there and owners friendly.
