Rock Cottage is a cosy, compact retreat on the edge of the pretty harbour of St Abbs, just ½ mile from Coldingham Bay on the Scottish border. The property is set within the courtyard of Dive St Abbs, where the owners run a diving charter boat and B&B. This is the perfect destination for couples looking to be in the heart of village and harbour-side life. There are views of the harbour from every window, and the living room opens onto a small enclosed decked patio right next to the rock. There is a post office, shop and a couple of cafés in the village. Coldingham, 1½ miles, and Eyemouth, 5 miles away offer a golf course and a wider selection of shops, pubs and restaurants.
There’s so much to do in the area – St Abbs Head Nature Reserve is fun for everyone, and also has a wonderful cliff top walk. Paxton House, Manderson, Bamburgh and Alnwick Castles offer an insight into their historic past. Beach 2 miles. Shop 250 yards, pub and restaurant 2 miles.

Lovely little cottage, well equipped, with a beautiful view, overlooking the harbour from the elevated terrace, where we spent many happy hours watching the village spring into life during the day and then slow down in the evening. Plenty to do in the area, St. Abb's Head, a stunning walk, a barbecue on the beach at Coldingham Bay, a short walk from the cottage, cooking fresh fish from Eyemouth, and Holy Island an easy day excursion. The owners were friendly and very helpful, we hope to go back some day.

Very nice area St Abb’s, cottage is very small but adequate, not much room in the bedroom and no wardrobe to hang anything in, lovely little balcony where you can sit and take in the activities in the harbour but spoilt a bit by the constant flow of traffic through the car park, very nice hosts, perfect for what it is set up for divers and diving .
