Extremely rural, and quiet. No mobile signal. Wooden floors creak every time you walk on them. Mattress a little soft if you like a firm bed. Very rough track from farm to cottage roughly about 1/4 mile.

2nd time staying here! Ideal location for piece and tranquility. The cottage is clean and comfortable, and the host is so friendly and helpful!! Only negatives, there's no WiFi and the signal is abit hit and miss. Not a problem, as not the sort of place you want to be in touch with the outside world! The floor boards are also very cheeky!!
