Guests say

Heron Lodge is highly praised for its comfort, well-equipped nature, and beautiful surroundings. Guests appreciate the clean, spacious lodges, the hot tub, and the thoughtful touches like dressing gowns and welcome treats. While most reviews are positive, a few mention cleanliness issues, but these are not the norm.

Most guests find the lodge extremely clean, with only a couple of isolated complaints about dust and pet hair, suggesting these are exceptions rather than the rule.

While the lodge's location is described as ideal and easy to access, with pleasant surroundings, there are not enough specific details to accurately score this category.

Guests consistently mention the lodge's comfort, highlighting the quality of the beds, pillows, and duvets, as well as the cosy atmosphere.

The lodge is well-equipped and maintained, with a hot tub that is ready upon arrival and other amenities that meet guests' needs. One mention of missing EV charging despite website claims slightly impacts the score.

The provision of dressing gowns, milk, tea, coffee, biscuits, and condiments is well-received by guests, indicating a high level of thoughtfulness. However, it should be noted that such gifts are not guaranteed.
