The Gullane caravan was the only thing which put a dampner on our holiday. Whilst the living area was spacious enough, the bedrooms were tiny and there was a severe lack of storage space. The first twin was roomy enough but apart from half a wardrobe there was no storage and not enough room for 2 peoples belongings. The other twin was smaller and had the same issues with storage. In this room the cupboard was attached to the wall but over the bottom of one of the beds, making it seem even more cramped. The double was TINY, there was one cupboard but no other storage. There was barely a foot of room on either side of the bed (not an exaggeration) and not much more at the foot of the bed. Unless you were in the bed there was no room for 2 people in that room. I expect to be a little cramped in a caravan but this was ridiculous. The dvd part of the TV was broken and even though we "politely" brought it to the attention of reception nobody came to look at it. There was a chunk of seal missing from the oven door allowing heat to escape and cooking to take forever. We had to "fix" the toaster ourselves. It wasn't enough to ruin our holiday but when you pay over £700 for a week in a caravan, you expect it to be comfy. We would definitely go back to Sundrum Castle but I wouldn't stay in a Gullane caravan again.
