You ll be set on the edge of Martnaham Loch with breathtaking views over the 2 mile stretch of water which is a haven for wildfowl and swans. The splendid Ayrshire coastline and countryside is a paradise for walkers, cyclists, and hikers with numerous coastal trails and country tracks to explore. Golfers are also well catered for with the championship courses of Turnberry, Prestwick, and Royal Troon all within 13 miles. Visit an array of historic castles and houses including Culzean, Dumfries House, Dundonald, and Dean, all within 15 miles. The nearby village of Alloway (5 miles) is best known as the birthplace of Robert Burns and the setting for his poems. Here, you can visit the charming, thatched cottage, museum, and monument and take a walk over the cobbled Brig o Doon. Entering this characterful property, you come to the hall before heading through to the spacious lounge with its bay window with seating overlooking the loch.
