Firstly the owners were super helpful ovely people in all respects, sorting out a couple of minor things very quickly and even bringing treats for our dog! We hadn't been to this part of Scotland before and were presently surprised by what it had to offer.The accommodation was a good sized newly decorated apartment with plenty of space in the living room. Situated not far from the beach which was great. The kitchen was well appointed and fully functional, bathroom, good with a shower cubicle. There was a lovely bonus, a shared garden which is large and has lots of seating, and also has a washing lineSlight negatives but not enough to spoil anything were: The bedroom was very compact, but the layout of the apartment wouldn't allow it to be otherwise. Clothes storage was a bit tricky, but the lovely landlady provided a clothes rail in the main room which helped. Some hanging pegs or a drying rack for wet towels would be a very useful addition in the bathroom as would some shelves. All in all, a super place for a reasonable price.

My husband and I also brought our little Yorkie Molly to stay for a week. It was lovely, clean cosy and very homely the hosts Josephine & Jimmy were friendly, helpful and welcoming. I am disabled and they were very understanding, they gave us extra time on our last day to leave the apartment which was great. Jimmy brought our dog Molly treats which was very kind and thoughtful. The apartment had everything you would need. Home from home. I would definitely recommend.

We had a great stay at Beachcomber Josephine and Jimmy made us feel very welcome from day one. It’s a great location to explore the Ayrshire coast.We stayed for 7 nights but I think it’s more suitable for shorter stays due to storage for clothes but everything else was great. It was clean and comfortable an and had everything we needed.Many ThanksAnne Marie & Joe
