This charming mid-terraced cottage is only a short stroll from a lovely sandy beach and Harbour. A comfortable living room and a well-equipped kitchen are on the ground floor. The property has a downstairs bedroom and a family bathroom with a bath and separate shower. Upstairs there are two bedrooms, a double with an en-suite shower room and a twin room. Nestled on the scenic Ayrshire coast, Girvan is a charming seaside town offering a delightful mix of natural beauty, coastal charm, and rich heritage, perfect for a relaxing and memorable holiday.
With its expansive beach, bustling harbour, and friendly local atmosphere, Girvan is an ideal base for exploring South Ayrshire and beyond. The town’s beach is one of its main highlights, stretching along the Firth of Clyde with stunning views of Ailsa Craig rising dramatically from the sea. The beach is perfect for leisurely walks, beachcombing, and picnics, while the promenade offers lovely spots to sit and enjoy the sea breeze. The harbour area is also a hub of activity, especially during the summer when boat trips depart for Ailsa Craig—a volcanic island rich in birdlife and famous for its curling stones. Just a short drive north along the coast, Culzean Castle and Country Park is a must-visit.

We had a short but very pleasant break at Greens cottage. Despite the weather not being that great we were able to visit the harbour and beach, which are within walking distance of the cottage.The cottage itself is very modern, fresh and well equipped and nicely decorated throughout. Beds were very comfy and the cottage is very cosy. Kitchen is well equipped and has all you could need. Welcome pack was very useful. Bathrooms and showers were lovely and very nice after a bracing walk in the rain. Parking is easy, we always were able to park at the door. Lots of places of interest to visit locally and information in the cottage was very helpful. If you need supplies Asda is a short walk from the cottage and other shops too.Local restaurants were excellent, The Vaults for no messing tasty home cooked food and Austin's near the harbour was excellent and great value { probably best to book} and Yasmin the Indian restaurant -a family run business with great food.All in all we has a lovely stay ands would recommend Greens cottage as a good place to make your base for visiting this part of the West coast.
