This quaint and charming cottage lies within the picturesque hamlet of Drumelzier within the spectacular Scottish Borders. Thoughtfully and respectfully converted from an old school, it is full of character and still retains some original features. Situated in The Borders, it is one of the easiest destinations to get to in Scotland making it the perfect base for couples and families to explore this beautiful area.
With delicate and sympathetic touches such as exposed beams, wooden flooring and a wood burner, this property offers any guest a very warm and inviting welcome. Furnished with traditional fabrics and cottage-style patterns gives the property a home from home atmosphere. The impressive and spacious open-plan living area was once the old school room and is vibrant and full of light making it a great space to entertain family and friends.
The cottage is situated over two floors and comprises a large open-plan lounge/kitchen/dining room. The additional feature of a wood burner makes this room feel like the heart and soul of the cottage. As you go up to the first floor, there is one double bedroom, one twin bedroom and the family bathroom with a shower over the bath and WC.
Surrounding the cottage are meadows and rolling hills as far as the eye can see with lots of walking and cycling routes from your front door.
