A lovely chalet set in a very pleasant location on the banks of the river Douglas. We were an 'older' couple and found the Chalet comfortable and well equipped. Hot tub with far views over the countryside, multiple seating areas and large garden. Short drive to Lanark with all required amenities including railway station which we used to visit Glasgow. 50mins drive to Falkirk, the wheel and the Kelpies.

Exactly like the website, peaceful and stress free.The owner was there to greet us and any queries were dealt with quickly. The Inn on the Loch is the place to eat out in Lanark the food and the staff were 5 star
