Loch Earn Lodge is praised for its stunning location, ideal for outdoor activities like walking, water sports, and cycling. Guests appreciate the well-equipped lodges and the breathtaking views over Loch Earn. While some areas may benefit from modernisation and maintenance, the overall experience is highly regarded, with many looking forward to returning.
The lodge received mixed feedback on cleanliness. While some guests found it clean and well-kept, one mentioned the presence of cobwebs and a need for modernisation, suggesting room for improvement.
The location is consistently lauded for its beauty and suitability for outdoor activities, offering super views and a quiet setting. It's a perfect base for exploring the local area.
Guests find the lodges spacious and cosy, contributing to a comfortable stay. However, there is a mention of a broken bunk bed, indicating some comfort issues.
The facilities are generally well-received, with lodges being well-equipped for cooking. However, some guests noted that parts of the lodge and outdoor furniture need updating, and an en suite shower/toilet lock was not functioning.
There is no mention of gifts or special attention from the host that would indicate thoughtfulness, so it is not possible to provide a score in this category.
Comfortable lodge. One double with en suite shower, one twin and one with bunks. Bath with overhead shower. Views over the loch. Electricity is supplied via a £1 coin meter.

Great place to stay for walking, water sports and cycling.Lodge had everything you need for cooking. You do have to travel to see sites etc. WiFi was not great but you go to get away from it all.

Enjoyed a week in this lovely, quiet location with super views overlooking Loch Earn and the surrounding mountains. Chalet was clean and well equipped. A great base for walking, climbing Ben Vorlich, fishing and attending Kenmore Highland Games. The family enjoyed waterskiing lesons at the nearby watersports centre and we hired kayaks. Overall a great week with plenty to do in the local area. We would definitely return.

Chalet in need of modernisation. Quite a few cobwebs! The top bunk bed was broken.
