Located a 10 minute walk from lochearnhead, 1/2 of that on a dangerous road with no footpath. The barn is comfortable enough, only 1 small shower in a tiny downstairs toilet. Upstairs bathroom only has a bath. Deco is dated & scuffed and wood floors stained from previous spills. Next to the property is a derelict house with rubbish and building materials scattered about, quite an eyesore. The single beds in the two upstairs rooms are uncomfortable. We didn’t use the electric storage heaters, although I’d say they would eat the electricity. We enjoyed touring the area and the local hotel/pub was welcoming.

The Barn is on the side of a very busy road, but not so bad at night. The rear of the building is beautiful scenery and access to a field leading into woods. Lots of sheep and lambs, also red deer, so keep your dog on a lead at all times. The Barn itself is very clean, comfortable and spacious. A good base for lots of lovely places.

Had a great time, great views and wildlife. Great location to see areas of Scotland from the coast to Perth, 20 min from Tesco so make you collect food and fuel when your out and about.
