Garden and 13-acre woodland grounds (shared with owners and other cottages on-site). Hot tub (shared with owner). Trout fishing on-site by arrangement. Bike store. Private parking for 3 cars. No smoking. Please note: There is an unfenced lake in the grounds, 10 yards away.. A delightful, mid-terraced cottage with glorious views over Carribber Loch and the surrounding woodland. This is an ideal base for friends and families to relax in, just 3 miles from historic Linlithgow and an easy 25-minute train journey from Edinburgh. Carribber Beech Cottage lies within the extensive grounds of the owner’s home with a trout fishery in the lochs beside the cottages. The cottage has three attractive bedrooms, three bathrooms and an open plan ground floor living area which opens onto a private patio area.
There are good walks from the doorstep, with more extended routes nearby. Linlithgow Palace, the House of the Binns and Hopetoun House give fascinating insights into life in past times, or you can visit the gigantic Kelpies and the Falkirk Wheel to admire contemporary engineering and design. There is easy access to Stirling and Glasgow, as well as Loch Lomond & the Trossachs National Park. Beach 17 miles. Shop, pub and restaurant 3 miles.

Dont leave dogs in the property on their own, if needed to left this has to be consulted with the owner before

When we got there t.v not working settees both of them broken , washing machine broken, headboard on double bed broken, toilet leaking so kept automatic flushing all night long , cooker dirty oven so unusable , behind chest of draws dirty and rubbish left there, kitchen bin had rubbish in the bottom of it under bin bag when we got there , remote control of d.v.d player the batteries were corroded and d.v.d player didn't work. Stair carpet had dirt marks on it . Very poor value for money and disappointing and dissatisfied.
