Ledi Lodge has recently been modified to provide a large open plan living area, shower room and kitchen with glorious views through the woodland to the countryside beyond. It has one double and one twin bedroom, a living room, kitchen and bathroom. The fully fitted kitchen has everything you need for your stay, including all the utensils. The cottage is all electric and heating is provided by panel heaters in all rooms, plus under floor heating in the living room. A laundry and children’s playhouse is also provided on the park. There is a large decked area leading from the living room which is a great place to sit and enjoy the wildlife and some peace and quiet. Beach 5 miles.

The location of the property was good for visting both Edinburgh, Falkirk and the Stirling attractions, however we were dissapointed with the cleanliness of the property.There was dust everywhere and the floors in all rooms needed a deep clean especially around the edges and skirting boards. The bathroom window also had mould on itThe bed frames and mattresses also needed replacing as the frames squeak every time you move and you could feel the bed slats through the double mattress, this mattess was also stained around the edges with brown marks. I would suggeat using encased matress protectors. The Kitchen and the bathroom were well equipt with everything we needed for self-catering. The Easter gift for our daughter was a nice touch and we did enjoy our holiday overall.

Ideal location for us, we have stayed there before and the lodge is in lovely surroundings. Well equipped with everything we needed for our stay, great beds, warm and cosy and very comfortable. The underfloor heating system was marvellous and the shower was amazing although it was quite noisy. I would say Ledi is ideal for a stay, the only down side was I couldn't get the oven to work but was able to use everything else. The interior is a wee bit tired and could do with a paint job perhaps but other than that, we had a great time and would come back again.

Lovely cottage, quiet, rural location, country side view looking out of the cottage window. Everything needed for a holiday let. Cottage clean and tidy. Would recommend, ideal for local amenities and train station central.
