We spent a wonderful week at Grianan at the start of June. The group comprised seven women and we visited to celebrate my 50th birthday. The house is spacious, and very well presented and equipped. We particularly liked that there were two sitting rooms, both with stunning views, and a bath with surely most amazing view in Scotland! We did lots of cycling, walking, sea swimming, sauna-ing, wildlife-watching and eating good food. We would recommend the Ranger-led wildlife walk, the Hebridean sauna, the Wee Fish Box, unofficial parkrun, salad from the community garden, cakes from the honesty boxes at Vatersay and Eoligarry, and lovely Tony's bike hire. The place was perfect for outdoors enthusiasts like us. We fell in love with beautiful Barra and can't wait to return to the Outer Hebrides.

Grianan is a spacious, comfortable and well equipped house set in a beautiful location, with stunning views all round. We had a wonderful week exploring Barra, as well as a trip to Eriskay, South Uist, Benbecula and North Uist. We had a walk down to the Heathbank Hotel for a meal which was lovely, and bought fresh fish from the Barratlantic shop nearby. Highly recommended.
