Purpose built in 2022 with sustainablity at the forefront of the build, this property is finished to an exceptionally high standard. Two of the three bedrooms have their own en-suites with walk in showers. The large family bathroom has walk-in shower a jacuzzi with TV and an Infrared Sauna. Externally there is a large parking area with front and rear lawns. Situated to side of the property within an enclosed area, there is a seating area with garden furniture and a hot-tub seating up to seven.
Ryka Lodge is located on the East Coast of the Isle of Lewis, 10 minutes from Stornoway Town Centre. Perfectly situated to explore the historical visitor attractions and stunning beaches that Lewis and Harris have to offer.

The cottage was gorgeous and was very well equipped. It was decorated to a high standard and very clean. The only downside was we booked it Monday to Monday but they had to clean the hot tub on Sunday early afternoon which means you can’t use the hot tub on your last night. I didn’t feel that was fair as we booked it specifically for the hot tub as we enjoy after a day exploring to relax in the hot tub. Apart from that - I would highly recommend it.

The only problem we had with the house there was no slip mat in the showers and I could have done with a hand rail in the showers. I had a nasty fall in the shower because it was slippery and I had nothing to hold onto.I didn’t brake anything but I have some lovely bruises.The heating was very spasmodic and no matter how high I set the temperature the towel rail never came on. By the way I am 77 years old, I could have done some serious damage by my fall.

Ryka Lodge is a large bungalow with excellent facilities. It has views over the sea which provided ever changing views with the very changeable weather. The large super king sized beds were great but a little firm. The living area was very comfortable with plenty of seating. It was like home from home. I would highly recommend booking a stay at Ryka Lodge. There are plenty of beaches to visit. Ideal if you like a quiet break. Highly recommend. Rachel was extremely welcoming and helpful.
