Flock to the sandy beaches on the island’s edge including Cemaes Bay (3.5 miles), Traeth Porth Wen Beach (5 miles) and Traeth Ynys y Fydlyn (7 miles), all surrounded by fabulous National Landscape splendour. The nearby town of Amlwch (5 miles) is a hub of activity with a rich industrial heritage, pretty sea views and the fascinating Copper Kingdom. On the edge of town, explore Parys Mountain (5.5 miles), an ancient copper mine offering a network of walks and views all the way over to Snowdonia when conditions are clear.
