Most guests found the cottage clean and tidy, but several reviews mentioned issues such as dog hair on the sofa, greasy kitchen utensils, and lingering odours. A few suggested a more thorough clean would improve the experience.

The location is frequently praised for its quiet setting, proximity to the harbour, coastal walks, and local amenities. Some guests noted parking can be challenging due to the narrow street, but overall the location is a highlight.

Guests generally found the cottage comfortable, with particular praise for the beds and cosy atmosphere. Some mentioned the sofa could be cleaner, and a few found the property a bit too warm, but comfort was a strong point overall.

The cottage is well-equipped, with a good kitchen and enclosed garden. However, several guests noted the absence of a dining table and minor maintenance issues such as loose floor trims and missing kickboards. Facilities are otherwise adequate for a pleasant stay.

Great stay at the 'Lazy Lobster' for our 4 nights, it had everything we needed. We forgot to bring the dog's bowls and it even had some there, clean & tidy and quiet area. Lovely stroll around the port up to a little fenced in dog park, great location for days out nothing too far by car. Would highly recomend staying here, thank you to Paul & Lou 👌👍

Lovely cottage and really enjoyed stay. Overall cottage very clean and everything you need for comfort. My only criticisms is the lights in the lounge are very bright and could do with a lamp and a more thorough clean of sofa and underneath. Well equipped kitchen but no tumbler glasses or chopping board. Would happily return we had a lovely stay and beds super comfy. Welcome package is a nice touch. Overall would rate our stay 9/10.

On first impressions all seemed ok . However, there was no welcome package when we arrived , but I did ring the owner and bring it to his attention should he read this .Unfortunately, we came to use glasses for a drink when we arrived but had to wash them up before use as they were greasy from previous users. Fridge was not very clean , had to wipe it all out before we put our own food in there .Some of the utensils in stand on worktop had to be washed prior to use as they were sticky/ greasy .Kickboard was missing from under one of the kitchen units .Wasn't keen on the three foot gap between the property's back door and next doors back door for shared access to gardens. There was also a used dog waste bag discarded on floor by gate which I refused to move .Moving into living room area , the sofa left a lot to be desired as there were dirty marks on it .On tidying up after use of sofa there was an unbelievable amount of dog hair from previous users .On reflection of previous visitors comments , a table and chairs would be really nice to sit at to eat , rather than the trays provided to eat your meals off your lap .Although there was unlimited WiFi access for your phone it seemed TV accessibility was limited between the hours of approximately 19:30 and 11:45 pm , wether its a limited package for TV or just the area I dont know .Moving upstairs , there's an elevated area where the toilet is .The stairs have a strip at the top of the steps leading to the toilet which kept coming off .Definitely a trip hazard .On a plus location is quiet but parking is at a premium due to narrow street and locals needing access to their properties which we fully respected .Sorry , wouldn't recommend and wouldn't visit again .
