Glan Y Mor is a well-loved cottage praised for its stunning location, spaciousness, and comfort. Guests are captivated by the sea views, wildlife sightings, and the property's character. The upside-down layout and thoughtful touches, such as a well-equipped kitchen and interesting decor, contribute to a memorable stay. While some cleanliness issues were noted, the overall experience is highly regarded, with many guests planning return visits.
Most guests found the property to be clean and well-maintained, though there were a few mentions of dust and cobwebs. The cleanliness of the kitchen and bathrooms was specifically praised, indicating a generally high standard with room for improvement in certain areas.
The location is consistently celebrated for its breathtaking views and proximity to the sea, with wildlife sightings and easy access to coastal walks. The peaceful setting and the variety of nearby beaches and towns contribute to its high rating.
Guests frequently mention the comfort of the property, noting the spacious rooms, attractive layout, and cosy atmosphere. The presence of a library and multiple lounges adds to the overall comfort, although a minor comment about bed size suggests a slight deduction from a perfect score.
The property is well-equipped with a range cooker, dishwasher, and large fridge/freezer. The unique decor and artefacts add charm. However, some guests noted issues with noise from the fridge and a leaky shower hose, indicating that while facilities are generally excellent, there is some need for maintenance.

This superb detached cottage is set on the seafront in the picturesque Bull Bay cove, near to Amlwch, on the north coast of Anglesey. Set in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, this cottage could not be in a more prominent and spectacular beachside location. Built by the current owners, Glan y Mor has been appointed to a high standard throughout, and offers luxurious upside down living to provide unbeatable sea views from the main living area, a double aspect sitting room with two separate balconies looking out onto the Irish Sea. Stairs lead off the hall to the spacious first floor open plan living room, with galleried ceiling, oak beams and bespoke chandeliers, married with designer radiators, oak flooring and leather sofas, to create a stylish and welcoming area to sit and socialise. Dine in style overlooking the bay, and prepare delicious home-cooked meals to eat on the balcony whilst watching the changing colours on the sea as the sun sets. The three ground floor bedrooms have been carefully styled to provide the same level of finish as upstairs, with a twin and double room overlooking the cove and a master bedroom with fully-fitted wardrobes and a king-size bed to the rear. The rear patio is a sheltered sun trap with slate chippings and a patio area, with bench seating under the front covered veranda, where you can sit with your favourite tipple, watching the world go by. There is parking for 3 cars or watercraft, and with the beach and launching slipway just across the harbour road the location is perfect. The Anglesey Coastal Path meanders past the property opening up miles of unspoilt coastline, clifftop walks and hidden coves, and the popular Bull Bay Golf Club is a short stroll past the Trecastell Hotel and bar, with the ever popular Bull Bay Hotel less than a half minute walk in the other direction. A wonderful property in an enviable seaside location, which will have you returning time and time again.
