Guests say

Gwelfor Barn is highly praised for its stunning views, spaciousness, and excellent facilities, including a warm indoor pool and well-equipped kitchen. The property is ideal for multi-generational family gatherings, offering comfort and a variety of local activities. While some minor maintenance issues and cleanliness points are noted, the overall experience is memorable and guests frequently express a desire to return.

Most guests found the property to be clean and well-maintained, though there were isolated comments about dust, dead insects, and forgotten laundry. These seem to be exceptions rather than the rule, indicating high standards of cleanliness with room for minor improvements.

The location is consistently lauded for its fabulous views and proximity to coastal paths and local attractions. It's described as idyllic and perfect for both active and peaceful stays, contributing to the property's high appeal.

Guests report the property as comfortable, with special mentions of cosy living spaces and comfortable beds. Some guests noted the property could be too warm at night and suggested adjustments to the heating, but overall, the comfort level is rated highly.

The facilities, especially the swimming pool, are a highlight for many guests. However, some maintenance issues such as non-working light bulbs, a loose towel holder, and a problematic door lock were reported. These issues suggest that while facilities are generally excellent, there is a need for more consistent maintenance checks.

While the reviews reflect a high level of satisfaction with the property's offerings, there is insufficient information regarding specific thoughtful gestures such as gifts to accurately assess this category. Therefore, a score cannot be provided.

Property is amazing and the pool is an added bonus. There is plenty of room and the view is amazing! Would definitely recommend this property and we will be looking at booking again in the future.

The house was large enough for our family of 8 adults and 2 babies (and a dog!) and we felt that each couple had space and privacy, while also having room to be togehter for meals and games. Our only minor concern was the wardrobe space and the window covering in the master suite, which did not match the quality of furnishings in other rooms. We made the most of the spacious decking and the pool, which definately provided much-needed room for our little ones to burn some energy. We felt very sad to leave and would love to return at some point. Thank you for letting us stay in your lovely house!

Part of the decking had been left sticking up when laid and was dangerous with four young children running round. As reported to Sykes we had a number of maintenance issues the pool door lock, curtain rail coming down and the pool cholrine level. Just some suggestions. With children visiting you could do with a play area in the meadow or somewhere. The blinds and curtains in the bedrooms need looking at as they didn't block out the light in some rooms.
