We really liked the area and being able to walk to the beach and the forest. I think the appartement is perfect for a person with a dog. As we don't have one, the smell of dog in the living room was sometimes unpleasent for us.Otherwise we had a really nice time and we enjoyed the quietness.

The Hawthorn itself was an ideal base for anyone interested in Walking The only problem is the flight of stairs you have to climb to reach the apartment as I have problems with .y legs as does my daughter so we had a problem each time we went out. Whilst we enjoyed our stay at the Hawthorn it took the edge of the holiday. As a base it is perfect for anyone who enjoys walking as there are many which are proposed in the information book in the apartment.
