Please note: The property is accessed via a rough track.. Blue Sails (ref JPV) is a traditional Welsh holiday cottage with its own garden enjoying a magnificent setting in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, right on the seashore, with waves sometimes lapping against the patio walls, and glorious views of Puffin Island and Snowdonia. The Beach House (ref OHM) lies in a secluded setting, with direct access to the beach (via a few steps) and panoramic views across the Menai Straits to the Snowdonia mountains. This single-storey Scandinavian-style pine lodge is set to the right of Blue Sails. It has a large garden (not fully enclosed) and visitors may enjoy sightings of many species of seabirds, porpoises and even the occasional seal.
Beaumaris (2 miles), a World Heritage Site, is Anglesey’s most attractive town; it has a castle, boat trips to Puffin Island, water sports facilities, shops, restaurants and an excellent inns. Bangor 8 miles. Beach 1 mile.

A beautiful location with a good level of accommodation for self catering.Watching the tide ebbing and flowing is extremely calming.You don’t need to count sheep to fall asleep, just listen to them or the waves on the shore. BLISS!!

The location of this property is excellent with views across the straits, wild life, solitude and peacefulness guaranteed. The price paid for these conditions is the need to travel to any shops. Nearest is only about one and a half miles away, (Morrisons extra), The next about 3miles in Beaumaris, (Spar), but bad to park, then a large Waitrose in Menai about a couple of miles past Beaumaris. There is a great grass area for any dogs to play or there is access to the beach for long walks. Access to the beach is not easy for people with limited mobility but we found the neighbours willing to allow access through their beach gate. All in all a super accommodation with two bedrooms, bedroom one with a double bed and bedroom two with two singles. Beds were very comfortable as was seating in the sitting room. A couple of loungers are in the lawned area and there's a patio with table and four chairs for outside refreshment and to watch the boats passing by. You may even see a seal. In Beaumaris you can take boat trips or fishing trips or visit the castle. All in all then a great place to stay and one that we hope to visit again in 2027.Be aware that the two facilities owned by Tami are very popular so early booking is a must. Speaking of Tami, she text us twice to ensure that everything was satisfactory which was very nice of her. I fully recommend this property.
