Guests say

Carreg Rhys is a well-received cottage in Anglesey, praised for its comfort, peacefulness, and welcoming hosts. Guests appreciate the thoughtful touches, cosy atmosphere, and the hot tub. It's a pet-friendly property with beautiful gardens, ideal for relaxation and as a base for exploring the island.

The majority of guests found the cottage to be immaculate and clean, contributing to a comfortable and welcoming stay. One mention of the bedroom carpet needing attention slightly impacts the score.

The cottage's location is highly praised for its tranquillity and beauty, with easy access to local attractions and beaches. The peaceful and picturesque setting is consistently mentioned as a highlight.

Guests report a very comfortable stay, with a cosy bed and a warm stove. Some guests noted difficulty with the bath and a preference for a shower enclosure, which slightly affects the comfort score.

Facilities like the well-equipped kitchen and hot tub are appreciated, but some maintenance issues such as a leaking loo and the absence of a shower enclosure are noted. The presence of a log burner and the pet-friendly environment are positives.

Hosts Fiona and Peter are commended for their thoughtfulness, including welcoming gifts and local recommendations. While gifts are warmly mentioned, it is noted that such personal touches, though delightful, are not guaranteed with every stay.

We cooked most days, there were plenty of pots, pans and dishes to meet our needs. The hot tub was amazing, so relaxing after a busy day. Our dog loved chasing her ball in the big garden and on the lovely beaches that we visited. A great week.

We found a lovely gem of a beach at Aberffraw which is only about 10 minutes away that was suggested to us by Fiona, they were wonderful hosts, if there was anything we needed then they dealt with it with such efficiency and warmth it was wonderful see. Our Bailey
