Venture further into Treaddur Bay where you can soak up the sunshine on the beach’s golden sands or beachcombe the shores, followed by fresh fish and chips or a sweet treat from the Sea Shanty Café. The keen putters in your party will not be disappointed with the excellent Beach Golf Course which offers a 9-hole course surrounded by impressive views. Just a little further you will find Holyhead, where walkers can easily access the scenic Isle of Anlgesey Coastal Path if they haven’t done so already, sample the local delights at the good selection of pubs and restaurants, enjoy a leisurely stroll through the Parc Gwledig Morglawdd Caergybi Breakwater Country Park where you can spot the local wildlife and even fish in the vast lake, or sit back and relax with the views at the Holyhead Marina.

Trearddur Bay is located on Holy Island's west coast. Intricately carved rocky coves and lovely sandy beaches adorn the low grassland coastline (European Blue Flag). Summertime activities include watersports, swimming, sailing, and windsurfing, as well as golfing at Holyhead's 18-hole links course. RSPB's South Stack Lighthouse Reserve is famous for its birdwatching, and there are many of rock pools and cliff-top treks to be discovered. It's possible to find stores, pubs, and restaurants in Trearddur Bay itself, but the nearby town of Holyhead has a plethora of attractions, including a marina, the second-longest breakwater in the world, and exhilarating ferry journeys to Dublin.
