Llywelyn is a delightful apartment within the Cliffs Apartment complex in Trearddur Bay, on the Isle of Anglesey. Enjoying striking elevated sea views and offering a welcoming base for families, friends and two dogs looking to spend time beside the coast. Pull into one of the two private parking spaces and take in the coastal surroundings before using the lift to reach the apartment, where the sea provides an impressive backdrop to your stay. Step inside and make your way into the kitchen/diner, where a window frames views across the sea and neighbouring green field as you settle in and begin preparing your first meal.

Put the oven, hob and microwave to work while the kettle and toaster take care of breakfast, then leave the dishwasher to handle the clearing up and make use of the washing machine after days spent exploring the shoreline. Gather around the dining table to plan tomorrow’s adventures before moving into the sitting area, where you can sink into the sofa or armchairs, switch on the electric fire and Smart TV, or simply pause to admire the lovely view. When it is time to retire, head to the master bedroom and settle into the double bed, with a wardrobe providing storage for your belongings and an en-suite shower room offering a convenient place to freshen up.

The second bedroom also benefits from its own wardrobe, while the bright bathroom provides a bath with shower over for an invigorating rinse or a longer soak at the end of an active day. Step out onto the terrace with a morning coffee, settle at the picnic table and bench and take in the fresh coastal air, or enjoy a swim in the complex’s heated indoor pool, with the outdoor pool offering another tempting spot for a dip during the summer months. When you are ready to venture out, wander down to the nearby coast, stop by the local pub for a drink or pick up everything you need from the village shop.

For a memorable day beside the sea, head to South Stack Lighthouse near Holyhead, where dramatic cliffs, sweeping views across the Irish Sea and the striking lighthouse setting showcase the wilder side of Anglesey. Discover more of the island at Anglesey Sea Zoo, with its native marine life, fascinating sea creatures and displays centred around the waters of Wales, or make your way to Beaumaris Castle to explore its imposing stone walls, impressive defensive architecture and historic surroundings. Trearddur Bay is situated on the western shore of Holy Island. It’s truly beautiful - a great sweep of low grassy coastline indented with rocky coves and fine sandy beaches (European Blue Flag). Watersports, bathing, sailing and windsurfing are the main activities in the summer months and golfers will enjoy the excellent Holyhead 18 hole links golf course. It’s a great place for nature lovers with renowned birdwatching at the South Stack Lighthouse rspb Reserve and lots of rock pools and cliff top walks to explore. There are shops, pubs and restaurants in Trearddur Bay itself and nearby Holyhead offers a wider range of amenities, including a very good leisure centre, an interesting harbour front, a marina, the world’s second longest breakwater and exciting day trips to Dublin on the ferry. The Maritime Museum in Holyhead has an excellent cafe and the beautiful Holyhead Breakwater Country Park has walks for you to enjoy. Further afield there is the stunning Newborough with its excellent woodland and beach and Beaumaris with its town and castle. A great location with plenty to see and do!
