Guests say

Arwelfa is a spacious and well-equipped bungalow in a peaceful location, ideal for exploring Anglesey and enjoying birdwatching or coastal walks. Guests appreciate the proximity to the beach, local amenities, and scenic views. The property is comfortable and offers good value for money, with many visitors returning for repeat stays. While some mention areas for improvement in cleanliness and maintenance, the majority find the accommodation homely and relaxing, making it a popular choice for families and those seeking a tranquil getaway.

Most guests found the property clean and tidy, but several reviews mention issues such as dust, cobwebs, dirty windows, and some neglected areas like the porch and garden furniture. A few guests had to clean appliances or defrost the freezer themselves. Overall, cleanliness is generally acceptable but could benefit from more attention to detail.

The location is highly praised, with guests loving the quiet estate, easy access to the beach, beautiful views, and proximity to shops, pubs, and attractions. The setting is ideal for exploring Anglesey and is especially appreciated by birdwatchers and families.

The bungalow is described as spacious, warm, and comfortable, with good beds and a peaceful atmosphere. Some guests found the living room seating and mattresses less comfortable or dated, and a few noted accessibility challenges for those with mobility issues. However, most guests felt at home and enjoyed restful stays.

Facilities are generally well-received, with a well-equipped kitchen, good WiFi, and ample amenities. Some guests noted missing or outdated items (e.g., no DVD player, blunt knives, limited garden furniture), and a few maintenance issues (unstable table, lighting, garden security for pets). Overall, the property meets most needs but could benefit from some updates.

There are no specific mentions of welcome gifts or extra thoughtful touches in the reviews, so a score cannot be provided for this category.

Everything was spot on as described if not better. We had a fantastic time and all hope to return to the same place in the near future. I would recommend it. Lovely view out of the window. Good for dog walking and kids. Loads of lovely beaches within 15-20 mins. Local beach is on 1 min away and perfect for last thing at night dog walking. (Rocky beach). Loved the holiday. Thanks everyone

A spacious and airy bungalow the entrance step is high for toddlers a d elderly alike, the lounge has a spindle back conservatory type lounge suite, not the one listed on the app, biggest and comfy, the rooms are sparsely furnished and cleaning leaves much to be desired, plenty of extension leads, not enough sockets, into the single bedroom too the Patio doors, ignoring the dirty bed linen put on for our arrival step out carefully as the homemade brick step is unsafe for a toddler or the elderly, another unsafe step down to the garden, surrounded on on side by bushes, with gaps blocked y piles of bricks and paving stones, not child friendly, the lounge has a dust filled brass fender with joints sticking out mind that toddler On the plus side the Kitchen is well equipped

It was quite dusty, cobwebs in most window corners, some inside windows needed a good clean. Dining table was very unstable, it could be dangerous if children were around. We had to collapse it down to make it safer to eat at. Lounge chairs were very low for anyone with mobility issues. Garden was not secure for any dog smaller that a Labrador. Wheelie bins had not been emptied from previous week. However location was super, coast very close for dog walking. Lovely new bathroom. Kitchen very well equipped except no baking trays. Bed and bedding super comfy and clean.
